The coffee here is some of the best in melbourne, staff are always friendly and the food options are great!!

This is my local coffee stop and I've hit the jackpot.Coffee is superb, and the staff are always friendly. I love when I have time to sit down for something to eat, a really good spot for brunch. Or the take away food is great as well.

We stopped here on our way to an Escape Room which we were early for. We loved the coffee, snacks and service. We also loved that they were dog friendly. we will visit again.

Very nice to hang out when sun is out. Friendly service. Coffee was great. Food was ok. Looked very good on plates but tasted average. Maybe I expected something very different as I see the pictures I went before.

Visited for breakfast and paid the exorbitant price of $9.50 for poached eggs on sourdough. When it came out there were 3 ingredients on the plate: 1 meagre, thin slice of slightly stale white sourdough that could have been bought from a supermarket; 2 plain poached eggs; and a handful of baby shoots sprinkled over the top. No butter, salt or pepper to be seen either on the plate or nearby to be added. Altogether bland and thoroughly disappointing, especially for the price they were asking - not up to scratch for the average Melbourne cafe! The coffee was ok but unexceptional - if you're after a takeaway coffee Phat Milk is probably fine but I would not recommend eating there!

No one does brunch like the Aussies do, for sure. Then again, no one charges brunch like the Aussies do as well. Many times we find ourselves paying $20 for a plate of edible flowers, an egg and a piece of toast. Not the best way to spend money.Phat Milk, however, exceeded expectations! We were worried we might not get a seat as we arrived during peak hour and thought our trip might not be worth the time. When we arrived, we were ushered further back from the door, past the kitchen, and found ourselves seated in a cool and warm but not hot, and brightly lighted room (natural light is the best!). We each ordered a different dish to try out and they all tasted amazing. I felt that it was super worth it paying $18 for my dish (which kept me full the whole day!). The $4 add on for 3 pieces of thinly sliced Sujuk, was in my opinion not worth it and overpriced. All the other dishes were great, the Baked Eggs was really good, and the drinks were delicious as well. Probably best to order their shakes, especially in the coming Summer months. Service was top-notch, Price is well-justified, Location is near the trams, Ample parking spaces, What else can we ask for? Definitely would recommend Phat Milk!

I came with friends and we ordered few different dishes. We like the Baked Eggs and Turkish Waffles in particular. Other dishes are average. Pretty good atmosphere and service. Good coffee as well.
