update: ok! this place actually depends all on the chef of the day they get, we went back, and this time the chef is really avg, we ordered the same bundle, and this time it tasted quite different. so that they really bet on her by you....especially if it is not cheap. original tried $190 menu, was really full of fried rice, epic seafood, other dishes were ok for the price we got, also clever staff, which I quickly realized after I switched my glass to the left side real, also they treat Asian customers the same as they treat the white customers, def will be next time notiz back: book the panfried service, other

had on 26 november a $150 set menu with a good buddy, half an hour after dinner, both of us had food poisoning and it was not a pleasant experience. for me it was to do with cross-contamination between diners on the same table, but on different menus are; krater touches rawbeef and immediately serve food for us. provide a feedback to koko about their automatic feed-back email, owners / manager calleback some days later inform, but they will not post since then examine. very disappointed by the experience in food safety and no follow-up reaction. waited more than half a month without communication, then decide to share on Google review. service: dine in meal type: dinner price per person: $180–200

Had the MOMIJI set for a birthday celebration. The standard was well below what one would expect for the price of $120 per head. The dishes tasted no better than the typical shopping centre Japanese restaurant. Service was good and ditto the ambiance, which is really what you're paying for. Similarly priced options in the CBD such as Kisume and Izayaka Den are fart superior. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100–120

Went for dinner with 2 other friends and it was all our first experience at Koko. The food came out quite fast, service by one of the waitresses was fantastic and unfortunately I didn't get her name. However she stated she was Malaysian. I remember her because we had ordered hot pot and 4 other dishes comprising of mains and one side plus 2 add-ons for the hot pot. We were about to order a salad until she gave us advise that we had alot more food incoming and she wasn't wrong! I wish the younger waitress had warned us but she didn't. The hotpot was more than enough for 3 people although I don't regret ordering the rest of the dishes as they were delicious. Atmosphere was great, lighting a little dim for photos however again the waitress knew what angles to take and to turn the flash on! Thank you to this waitress for being so friendly, polite and thoughtful for the dining patrons. Will definitely be back! No photo of matcha ice cream but it tastes like the one that's sold at Woolies tbh..
