we were in the hunter valley and this is a fantastic place to visit, which is about 20 minutes away by car. While the building could easily be missed, there are a few direction-tourist signs to find it. many parking spaces right in front of the door. a large historical collection of over 2 flats in immaculate condition, plus a caffe and shop inside also, the souvenirs and actual tactical equipment very cool sold! just a few dollars to get in and they can get it through in 1 2 hours, depending on whether they read all. there are no guides or something like this, it's just a small museum, but a good one. lower level is wheelchair accessible, but higher seemed only accessible by stairs.

Great place, heaps of history. Alot of weapons and vehicles to look at and keep the children interested.

Great place to visit, gave us a much better understanding of how and why Australia was involved in various conflicts. Top Cafe too, a thoroughly enjoyable visit. Well done to all the staff.
