Had the chicken udon, chilli chicken with rice and veggies and some deep fried chicken with a side of avocado salmon sushi. The prices are cheap and sushi is quite good. The udon is not very tasty so I wouldn't get that again but everything else was okay. I can't say it's a culinary experience of a higher kind but if you're looking for a sushi platter for an event and don't mind mediocre choice then the flavour itself will satisfy you.
My manager decided to bring me out for a meal along with a few visitors. We thoroughly enjoyed all of the dishes. I had the oysters and lamb (both specials for the day) and they were delicious. I would've given them a higher rating but the service was only average.
High Tea For Mothers' Day. I gave a gift of high tea at Jack and Jill's to both my mother and mother in law this mothers' day. I bought vouchers online where there was a promoted value at a discounted price. My mother and I booked for then called close to to say we'd be there by When we arrived the place was empty. There was one staff member present, who said they'd go and make the high tea now. After a long wait we were presented with a platter that really could have been for one hungry person, with tiny serves of food. No way it was worth two finger sandwiches each, three sweet squares (about x if that) and two bite sized scones. We thought perhaps there was more to come. Instead our staff member basically left us for ages, as we sat, music blaring. Eventually I had to go and seek the person out as they'd remained back of house...we were then offered coffee.
When we went to leave, I had to remind the staff member that our package included a take home loose leaf tea. We were presented with what looked like a teaspoon or so of tea wrapped in cellophane.
We left in disgust. I apologised to my mother and mother in law for such an awful gift. My mother was fine and my mother in law had a bit of a laugh saying she wasn't going to say anything about how bad it was.
I felt completely ripped off.
Great little spot in the Hollywood specialist centre.

Used to look pretty dated but it's had a revamp and looks a lot brighter and welcoming now.

Love the lunch specials. Awesome daily curry.

Pretty good coffee too. Very flavoursome and strong. Can get busy with orders from around the hospital but the staff are all friendly.
Excellent coffees. We tried 2 cappuccinos with the Brazil and mecca blends both very good and to our taste as well. It took a while for the coffees to come but on a weekend morning, it wasn't a problem and definitely worth the wait.
