I ordered the spicy chorizo which the menu specified comes with Turkish bread. What I got was a sub-standard portion for $16 in a deceivingly large take away container and not Turkish bread - it resembled the left overs of the end of a loaf of bread the pic shows. The saving grace was chorizo in a tasty spicy sauce.I live above the restaurant and thought of sampling the menu. Don't think I'll be going back. Very disappointed!

Re visiting the GC. Catchup with friends. Lunch and dinner. Chose the 2 new restaurants at Salacia Waters. Dinner was here. Booked a table for several days before. We arrived and the table was not set up. The waitress and 2 young men eating at a table, set them up as we waited for our guests. We were told that locals like to eat shared plates so we ordered a plate each. One couple was told to order 3. Not necessary. Meals arrived in dribs and drabs and 3 meals were very late and required asking where they were. The 3rd meal didn't arrive and despite being assured it was on way we had nearly finished our meals. I went up to the servery. The waitress told me our guest just hadn't bother to order a meal- I assume that was the reason why it was late! Not sure how she arrived at that. The meals were really nice and the company and we enjoyed ourselves. A little too cold outside. The guest really liked her meal so all was well in the end but not good enough really.

First time back since they opened after their renovation. The place looks great. Nice to see they are now open for dinner. Other than that the rest of our experience was very disappointing. We were greeted warmly and our coffee order was taken. That was where the service stopped. We reveived our drinks and then it felt like we were forgotten. We had finished our coffees and were just about to leave when they decided to come and take our order. 2 tables that arrived at least 5 mins after us were served before us. We stayed to see what the new menu is like. The food was not at the standard it used to be. We used to come here about once every 2 months. For a cafe that has a great location and lots of potential it fails to meet basic service standards. We are not sure if we will be back.

We've just had an amazing breakfast here. I can definitely recommend the chicken omelette with Asian flavours. The best breakfast I've had in a long time. Looking forward to returning. Service was very friendly, coffee delicious & it's dog friendly. Dogs are delivered a water bowl. Ticked all my boxes

Found this restaurant whilst taking a walk around the boardwalk following the path around the river from Sovereign Island. Set on the side of the Coomera River with excellent views it is very tastefully furnished and looks very expensive but all meals are very reasonably priced. We were well looked after by our waiter Jordan who was friendly and informative. Between the 3 of us we chose a meat lovers pizza, which was excellent, a shared plate vegetable medley and another shared plate of bbq lambs ribs. All 3 meals were to our entire satisfaction and we were quite pleased that we had walked to the restaurant as the return walk helped to wear off the very substantial feed. We fully intend to return in the near future.
